Project Manager

Immediate opening for a professional Project Manager to plan, lead, coordinate, and execute nationwide health fairs, screenings, and flu immunization programs for Fortune 500 clients. You will communicate with the client executive, arrange for the local staffing and supplies, monitor the event, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. You are in charge of your entire client project! While a previous health education or fitness background is beneficial, the successful Project Manager candidate will have strong experience in any industry in which professional services teams and resources are deployed nationwide on time-critical projects with complex and demanding logistics.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage project planning, timelines, implementation, and budgets for nationwide health screening and flu immunization campaigns.
  • Communicate directly with the client decision maker throughout all phases of the project. Your goal is to delight the client!
  • Schedule event staffing, ensure proper credentialing and training, and arrange logistics of supplies
  • Handle client concerns and ensure client satisfaction at each event
  • Document thoroughly, seek and incorporate client feedback for continuous improvement
  • Support incoming telephone volume, handle customer inquiries, and provide standard quotes and proposals
  • Support outgoing telemarketing efforts
  • Support general administration and operations as needed, including shipping and receiving, packing, data entry, and client billing
  • You will be measured on quality, execution, efficiency, and client satisfaction
  • If you have the background, you may also help create new wellness services, materials, and educational presentations, and be measured on quality, execution, efficiency, and client satisfaction

Successful candidates will have experience in health fairs, event planning, or a Project Manager in planning and executing large-scale service projects Fortune 500 clients, as well as the following general skills and qualifications:

  • Highly organized and neat, extreme attention to detail, excellent work ethic
  • Demonstrated skills in project management techniques and tools
  • Demonstrated leadership and completion of projects requiring event planning
  • Clear and concise verbal and writing skills
  • Pleasant and friendly, yet professional telephone personality
  • Strong desire to delight the customer – “good enough” is not enough!
  • Self-starting and able to prioritize own time
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Some travel (less than 25%) may be necessary to support a screening event, make a presentation, or manage a health fair
  • Ability to work extended hours, including some weekends in October/November, is highly desirable
  • As you will be in charge of important client programs, you must be accessible by cell phone for after-hours emergencies, should they arise
  • Familiarity with health improvement, fitness, and wellness is helpful, but not required
